Scholarship Awards 2009
Offered exclusively in Nigeria - A unique opportunity to win a Scholarship at Keele University
The scholarships are for September 2009 start date. There are two awards to be won:
- 50% tuition fee reduction on four term Foundation Diploma and 100% tuition fee reduction on two years Undergraduate Degree
- 50% tuition fee reduction on two or three term Pre-Masters and 100% tuition fee reduction on one year Postgraduate Degree
Entry criteria apply and the winners are chosen on the strength of an essay competition submitted by the 15th of July.
The competition
Applicants must submit an essay of 1200 – 1500 words together with academic transcripts.
The essay title is: Why I wish to study at a top UK university.
The essays are judged by the Academic Director of Keele University International Study Centre.
The deadline for entries is 15th July 2009. The winners will be announced 27th July 2009.
Entry criteria
- Minimum academic entry requirement: WAEC Grade A1/2 (1 exc/2 v good) or B3/4 (3 good/4 credit) in 4 or more subjects; mock results are acceptable for entry.
- Essay must be typed. 1200 – 1500 words (At least 2 sides of A4)
- Minimum age: 17 by 31st August 2009
- Visa eligibility: entries will need to meet visa assessment approval by a nominated agent. (This does not represent a guarantee of successful visa issue)
