The Scholarship Award
The scholarship is for September 2008 start date.
- 50% tuition fee reduction on the Undergraduate Certificate at the University of Stirling International Study Centre (ISC) AND 50% tuition fee reduction for the duration of the Undergaduate Degree at the University of Stirling
The Competition
- Applicants submit an essay of 1200 – 1500 words together with academic transcripts
- Essay title: ‘Why I wish to study at a top UK university’
- The essays are judged by an Academic Director in the UK
- Deadline for entries: 9th May 2008
- Winners announced 19th May 2008
Entry Criteria
- Minimum academic entry requirement: WAEC Grade C+ in 5 subjects including Grade A in either Maths or English. A letter of recommendation from your school would also be helpful.
- Essay: must be typed. 1200 – 1500 words (at least 2 sides of A4)
- Age limit: 20 (you need to be less than 21 years of age)
- Visa eligibility: entries will need to meet visa assessment approval by a nominated agent (this does not represent a guarantee of successful visa issue)
- Scholarship preference: you may state your preferred scholarship with your entry. In the event that you are a winner, we will endeavour (but do not guarantee) to award you with the scholarship of your choice
