- LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY
- UNIVERSITY OF WALES, NEWPORT (WALES ISC)
and managed by Study Group.
The Heads of Centre will be responsible to the Principal, ISCs, for the management of these new International Study Centres, delivering University validated and approved programmes and preparing international students for progression onto the host university’s degree programmes (or in the case of the Wales International Study Centre for progression onto the degree course of participating Universities and University sector Colleges and Institutes throughout Wales).
The posts are full-time, commence on 1 June 2008 and will be based in Centre. Early opportunities will be provided for the newly appointed Heads of Centre to visit both the Brighton Study Centre, the Headquarters of Study Group in the UK, and existing International Study Centres.
It is anticipated that there will be English Language Preparation students in Centre during the summer months and that these will be joined by students receiving year-round academic preparation for university degree courses from September 2008.
