Study Group is a global leader in the international education and training industry. The International Study Centres division is an exciting new development of University Preparation courses delivered on the campus of leading UK universities.

Due to exciting growth in the ISC division, Study Group is now looking for a dynamic young individual to help drive the recruitment of students from China to the ISC programme in the UK. The position will be based in Nanjing and will have a focus primarily on recruitment from the Central China and Shanghai region.

Main duties:

  • Devising and implementing a successful recruitment and marketing campaign alongside the ISC team for the ISC portfolio in Mainland China
  • Establishing and maintaining links and relationships with key education consulting firms in Mainland China, primarily in the Central China region.
  • Acting as a conduit between Study Group China regional staff and the operations division in the UK to ensure successful transition of student enrolments, and acting as a troubleshooter for operational issues
  • Providing professional education consulting service to agents, parents and students
  • Representing the ISC brand at key promotional events in Mainland China
  • Providing in-depth market research on the UK international academic market
  • Providing nominal admin support for the ISC Asia Recruitment Director and the ISC China Recruitment Manager  

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary diploma or degree in marketing, business or other related discipline
  • Fluency in both oral and written English
  • Fluency in both oral and written Mandarin Chinese
  • Experience of working with a distribution network
  • Experience of working in an international environment involving liaison with overseas offices
  • Experience of planning and executing marketing strategies
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Proven track-record in increasing sales
  • Experience of promoting educational services
  • Knowledge of recruiting for the tertiary university market
  • Overseas education, ideally the in the U.K.
