Reporting to the Director, Sales and Marketing

Main purpose of role

To provide administrative and marketing support to the UK’s Director, Sales and Marketing in relation to Bellerbys College, Study Group’s International Study Centres and Embassy CES programmes.

The role requires strong administration and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Study Group’s UK staff travel widely to support the company’s Regional Offices; its agents; feeder institutions; partners and for a wide variety of other reasons throughout the year.

We require an individual with excellent organisational skills who can help to ensure that we send the right people to the right place at the right time with the right preparation. In addition to the organisational skills, a genuine interest in our customers and client group will ensure that when they visit our UK centres they receive a friendly, professional, efficient service that results in a welcoming and expertly executed visit.

Job Specification

Missions:

  • Maintain the schedule for staff attendance at exhibitions, missions and on Sales and Marketing business in the UK and overseas
  • Agree expenditure for travel with the Director and communicate mission schedules and costs to other interested parties in the company
  • Liaise with Regional Offices and in-country specialists to develop itineraries for staff travelling overseas
  • Arrange agent visits and familiarisation trips with the Director, plan the schedule and itinerary for inwards agent visits to UK centres
  • Maintain central schedule for visits
  • Make all the necessary arrangements, including transport, catering, accommodation and entertainment
  • Liaise with UK Centres, Summer Schools, International Marketing Managers, Student Enrolment Advisers and the International Admissions Centre on itinerary and staffing for visits
  • Assist in successful execution of agent week and participate on visits where required
  • Ensure all arrangements are within agreed expenditure guidelines

Exhibitions:

  • Agree with the Director the information on scheduled exhibitions to be sent to overseas offices as required
  • Ensure all appropriate materials are shipped

Marketing and administrative support:

  • Research, collate and communicate a variety of marketing materials eg. university rankings, Bellerbys results, accommodation information and other relevant information as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, Sales and Marketing and other staff as required by the Director
  • Manage subscriptions and entries in publications such as British Council and Independent Schools Directory
  • Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by the Director
