ACCET was founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training and has been officially recognised by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a “reliable authority” as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions they accredit.
English Australia is the national peak body and professional association for the ELICOS sector of international education. They guarantee; protection of student's fees, quality uitions and services and adherence to a code of ethical conduct.
Formed in 2004 from two previous associations (ARELS and BASELT), they work with the British Council to run the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme, a worldwide guarantee of qulaity.
NEAS has been providing accreditation and quality assurance services in English language teaching since 1990. An internationally respected accreditation service in Australian English language teaching, thereby promoting Australia's worldwide reputation as a provider of the highest quality English language teaching programmes. Taylors College has been assessed as operating at a high standard, in keeping with NEAS standards for English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students.
