Welcome to Fisher College

Fisher College, founded in 1903, is a Boston-based accredited independent college, offering curricula that integrate a liberal education with career and pre-professional programs designed to meet the changing needs of both traditional and non-traditional learners. Graduates of Fisher College are expected to be informed decision-makers, prepared for immediate career entry or further higher education, and able to demonstrate an understanding of and appreciation for the values of all cultures.

International Students at Fisher College

Fisher College is home to international students from many countries around the world. International students make up 10 percent of the College's population. Fisher students enjoy the benefits of small classes and the tight-knit community that only a small college can provide. At the same time, they are exposed to worlds of opportunity that attending college in Boston makes possible.

Small Classes

Fisher students don’t feel like a number in an impersonal lecture hall.  All of your classes at Fisher are taught by professors- not teaching assistants.  And with a class size that averages only 17 students, there is no way that you will feel like a number at Fisher College.

Small classes mean that you will get to know your professors and your fellow students.  You won’t be too intimidated to ask questions.  You will feel like you belong to an extended family – one that is here to help you reach your academic and career goals.
