Phase 2: English for Academic Purposes + Credit Classes

Phase 2 is designed to prepare students for the academic demands at the High Intermediate and Advanced levels. As you continue to refine your skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, you will also complete the Writing Portfolio course. This capstone course is designed to build a varied, comprehensive portfolio of written pieces, including journal entries, a resume and cover letter, organized lecture notes, various types of essays, and a research paper.

You may also take up 3 credits while you complete your studies in the Transition Program. The number of credits you take will depend on your language ability and academic goals. Your academic advisors will help you tailor Phase 2 to best suit your needs and prepare you for academic success.
