The University Pathway Program is run by Study Group and Embassy Language School, working in partnership with Fisher College. Study Group is a world leader in education and training for international students.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
As a University Pathway Program student, you will learn in the supportive environment of Embassy Language School. The School is based in the heart of Boston, close to Fisher College's main Boston downtown campus.
Classes are small, focused on the needs of international students, and taught in classrooms with Interactive White Boards.

Pathway to 1st year undergraduate entry
The University Pathway Program offers a specialized pathway to a US university degree for international students:

Study a blend of English for Academic Purposes and university-level study skills

It has been specially designed with the ESL learning needs of international students in mind. Your English level on entry determines the duration and structure of your program.
Specialist teaching and personal attention
Your English language classes are taught by qualified TESOL teachers who are specialists in preparation for American universities. Your academic credit-bearing courses are taught by Fisher College faculty.
Build vital academic skills
On the University Pathway Program, alongside improving your English and the opportunity to gain academic credit, you will develop the practical skills you will need to thrive at College. These include comprehension of academic texts, critical thinking, examination formats, time management, as well as essay preparation and writing.
Fully integrate into US culture
You will be enrolled at Embassy Language School in Boston, have access to all student facilities at the school and can participate in school events and extracurricular activities. You are expected to communicate entirely in English, and such total immersion in the campus environment will be invaluable for your future studies.
Assured progression to a degree
Enrolling in the FUniversity Pathway Program gives you the security of knowing that you have satisfied the academic requirements for admission and have received an offer of a university place in the USA. Your I-20 immigration document is issued by Embassy Language School. On successful completion of the University Pathway Program, you have access to the entire choice of undergraduate majors at Fisher College.
