ESL AND DEGREE PREPARATION AT FISHER COLLEGE Studying English at Fisher College will prepare international students for all the wonderful opportunities offered for their future academic journey.
The ESL (English as a Second Language) Transition Program is designed for international students who want to attend Fisher College, but do not have the required English skills or TOEFL scores to gain direct entry into the undergraduate program. The student's English proficiency will dictate whether they complete the ESL Transition program before starting his/her chosen major, minor or concentration or take it in conjunction with academic courses. The ESL Transition Program provides language training, practical preparation and the opportunity to earn credits while studying on campus - allowing the student to gradually move into regular college courses while improving their language skills.
