Progress to the second year of an undergraduate degree - degree options

On successful completion of the Undergraduate Certificate, students can progress directly on to the second year of an undergraduate degree at Heriot-Watt University.

Choosing a degree

During the first term of the Undergraduate Certificate, students are given a great deal of advice about their degree options at Heriot-Watt. Each student has a personal tutor who helps the student to choose the degree programme that they would like to progress on to. The university will then issue a 'conditional offer' meaning that the student will have a place on the second year of their chosen degree providing that they achieve a specific overall grade and English grade in the Undergraduate Certificate.
