Masters study at Heriot-Watt

Progression from the Pre-Masters

Once you have successfully completed the Pre-Masters Programme you can proceed directly to your preferred Masters degree from the options listed below. The required grade will depend on your chosen Masters programme.

All programmes are one-year taught postgraduate degrees.

In order to progress to the degree programme you will need to obtain an overall grade at the end of your course, and a minimum English grade on the final English Skills module.

Students can also progress on to the Actuarial Sciences course.

The requirements are: 2:1 in Maths, Physics or any degree with a substantial Maths content (such as Engineering).
