Specialist on-campus preparation for your degree

The International Study Centre (ISC) offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree preparation courses for direct entry to the University of Huddersfield:

International Foundation Year: for access to the first year of undergraduate degrees in arts, animation, architecture, business, computing, engineering, hospitality, law, management, marketing, media, music, politics, psychology, social science, sociology, or transport & logistics
International Diploma: for access to the second year of undergraduate degrees in advertising, business, management, entrepreneurship, marketing, or public relations
Pre-Master's: pathway to postgraduate degrees in architecture, art, business, design, e-Governance, hospitality, logistics, management, marketing, or an MBA.

April 2010 Intake

We are offering an additional intake for the International Foundation Year programme in April 2010, which will give students the opportunity to progress onto the International Diploma in January 2011 and consequently enter the second year of the undergraduate degree of their choice in September 2011. All of this depends on successful completion of both the International Foundation Year and the International Diploma.

The April-start pathway is available only for the Business, Hospitality, Law, Management, Marketing, Social Studies, & Transport & Logistics route.

Who are the courses for?

Designed specifically for international students, ISC courses combine academic modules, study skills and English Language training. An ISC course is right for you if you have not yet reached the academic and English Language entry requirements for a Huddersfield degree.
