The International Diploma is for students who are overqualified for a foundation year but underqualified for direct entry to the first year of an undergraduate degree. Almost like a degree's first year, the International Diploma provides the relevant academic knowledge, study skills and English language proficiency to succeed as a second-year degree student.
Successful completion of the International Diploma guarantees direct entry to second year (2nd year) of your undergraduate degree at Huddersfield. Soon after joining the International Diploma, you will be helped to choose a degree programme that is right for you.
Students can begin the International Diploma in either September or January to join a dgree at second year level in the following October.
