International Year One
This unique course is an advanced, one-year course of study equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. The programme provides our students the relevant academic foundation, study skills and English language proficiency to succeed as a second-year student.
Successful completion of the programme guarantees you direct entry to the second year of undergraduate degrees in four study fields namely, Business Management, Marketing, Business Studies and Engineering.
Who should apply for International Year One?
Apply for this course if you are overqualified for a foundation year but still not qualified for direct entry to degree courses. This may be the case if you:
- have finished High School with excellent grades and good English language skills
- are a mature student with relevant work experience and good English language skills
- have completed the first year of a HND or Advanced Diploma in your home country
- are a university student already in the first year of a relevant degree in your home country
Why International Year One?
- Get required grades and continue directly to the second-year of your degree
- Students can enrol in either September or January to join a degree in the following October
