Huddersfield has an international reputation for Engineering, Chemistry, History, Music and Social Work. Our Centre for Precision Technologies (CPT) is widely regarded as the best in the UK and one of the top three in Europe. Our new sonic research lab for music students will be the first of its kind in England and the developments within our computer games studios led us to be awarded a development contract by Microsoft in a recent international competition.
