2011年夏季，著名的独立调研机构“国际学生晴雨表”(The International Student Barometer)刚刚出炉了大学调研评比结果。结果表示，基于包括英国在内的世界各地4万8千名国际大学生的在线问卷调查，哈德斯菲尔德大学高居世界各大高校榜首，平均分高达87.4%，以5个百分点完胜所有其它大学。
该评比的60个在线问题广泛涉及学生学习、大学软硬件设施和国际学生留学体验感受等多个不同层次和方面。
值得一提的是哈大在国际学生就业、以及在就读期间有更多机会半工半读、并获取工作实践等方面表现尤佳！

Pre-Master's bursaries for April 09We are pleased to announce a bursary available to all students starting the 2-term Pre-Master's course in April 2009 at the University of Huddersfield ISC. The bursary value is 25% of tuition fees, which amounts to GBP 1,425. This discount means that the 2-term Pre-Master's course costs £4,275, compared with the published price of £5,700.
Starting the Pre-Masters in April 2009, you can progress to your Masters degree at Huddersfield in autumn 2009. If you intend to study on a Pre-Master's programme, contact us for further information.

This September will see the introduction of a new course that guarantees a conditional offer for second-year entry onto an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Huddersfield.
The course has been designed for students who are overqualified for a Foundation Year course but underqualified for direct entry to the first year of an undergraduate degree.
Students with excellent high-school grades and good English or students who are already in the first year of a relevant undergraduate degree in their home country may apply for the course.
Students who have completed the first year of a HND or Advanced Diploma or are a mature student with relevant experience will also be able to study for the International Diploma.

Centre Head Dionne Coburn welcomed another group of international students to the ISC this week.
The students come from ten countries and four continents and have travelled from Russia, Qatar, The Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, China and India.
The students will be joining existing ISC students for English Language Preparation courses and International Foundation year courses before starting on a degree programme at the University of Huddersfield in September.
Newly arrived students from China and Bangladesh will also be starting on Pre-Master's courses before starting post-graduate degrees this Autumn.

The ISC officially opened at 2.30pm today as Pro-Vice Chancellor of Huddersfield University Bob Cryan cut the ribbon outside the Brunswick Building - home to the International Study Centre.
The event was also attended Prof. Dave Taylor, Director of International Strategy, and James Pitman, John Davies and Paul Lovegrove from Study Group - who are collaborating with the University on the development of the ISC. There was a large group of international students present for the ceremony and there was plenty of food and drink to celebrate.
"The launch was a great success" said Centre Head, Dionne Coburn. "It was fantastic to have so much support and enthusiasm from both the University and Study Group. All our students and staff worked really hard and ensured that our launch was a day to remember."
