升读詹姆斯•麦迪逊大学硕士学位课程，学生必须在硕士预科结束时满足以下升读要求：
- 英语语言水平：托福570/新托福88/雅思6.5相当水平
- 学术成绩：Completion of check points throughout the coursework
- GRE：成功通过研究生入学考试 (课程的一部分)
硕士预科课程：为硕士学位课程做准备
詹姆斯•麦迪逊大学面向国际学生开设专注于学术、衔接硕士课程的硕士预科课程。
硕士预科课程(PMP) 面向计划在詹姆斯•麦迪逊大学学习硕士课程，但未达到直接入读硕士课程学术和/或英语语言要求的国际学生。
课程着重于成功完成研究生课程和专业环境所必须的语言和学习技能，此外还将全面介绍美国大学学习与授课风格。
课程包括两个专业方向：
硕士预科资格课程本课程使那些在美国之外学习三年本科学位或文凭课程的学生具备入读詹姆斯·麦迪逊大学研究生课程的资格。 本课程综合了研究生阶段英语和学习技能、托福/研究生入学考试准备、以及不超过4个学分的“学术桥”课程（共12个学分）。这些本科阶段的大学课程与您选择的硕士学位课程相关，为您学习硕士学位课程做准备。 |
硕士预科课程 (面向合格学生)本课程是为那些达到詹姆斯·麦迪逊大学研究生入学学历要求，但是英语水平没有达到要求的国际学生所设置的课程。 通过本课程学生将在研究方法、专业的概念和属于、专业环境中演讲和表述、案例研究方面接受强化训练。学生还可有机会从相关领域的学习中修习至少两门有大学学分的课程。 |
学习时间表
学生需要就读硕士预科课程的长度取决于其学术资格和入读时的英语语言水平。学生英语语言水平由学习集团英语语言考试测定。

Designed for students who intend to build or advance careers in the fields of science, technology, management, consultancy, engineering, education, policy analysis in public or private organizations. Thesis or project study is in a strategic technology area such as biotechnology, energy, IT, manufacturing and the environment.
计算机科学：数字取证学 理科硕士
Master of Science (MS) - 36 credits
Designed for students wishing to make a career in systems and software safeguarding and security, or digital investigations in a wide variety of areas, including computer crime investigations, incident response, cyber warfare, and anti-virus research.
成人教育/人力资源开发 理科教育硕士
Master of Science in Education (MSEd) - 36 credits
Prepares professionals to lead, design, implement and evaluate learning programs within their organization. Designed for students entering or advancing in positions associated with learning in education, business, industry, government, military, health care, and other public and private sector organizations.

Master of Science in Education (MSEd) - 36 credits
Develops a broad and deep framework for identifying, implementing and assessing educational technology in the teaching and learning process. Students explore future trends in educational technology, and get extensive experience in designing, developing and assessing different educational technology applications.
Educational Leadership

Prepares students to assume leadership or management positions in both school and district offices. Designed for students with teaching experience or professional employment in a school setting who aspire to be educational leaders.
