The students at the International Study Center have organized a council to meet regularly and plan on social activities for international students on campus as well as outside campus.

Over 1,500 students are strong and vital members of the Fraternity and Sorority community at James Madison University. The campus has a strong Greek system with more than 20 chapters on campus.
Fraternity and Sorority Life offers students a unique opportunity to have a balanced college life with a focus on academic excellence, brotherhood/sisterhood, community service, and responsible social interaction. It allows students to make lasting friendships with individuals that share similar goals, ideals, and common purposes.
