* Please note that tuition fees do not include the cost of text books, which will be approximately £50 per term.
** For calculation purposes please note that a standard tenancy length is 37 weeks, but tenancy lengths do vary depending on room type. Additional charges may be made for such items as accommodation security deposits, bedding packs and other sundry expenses.
*** Premier en-suite bedroom only available on a 33 week occupancy period which excludes the Easter Vacation – Rooms must be vacated during this period and belongings removed from the room.
Price validity
- 2011/12 fees apply to all bookings made after 31st March 2011 for courses starting in 2011
- Accommodation rents are guidelines for each academic year and are subject to change
Scholarships for international students
A limited number of scholarships towards tuition fees are available for ISC students progressing onto a Keele degree, from both the International Year One and the Pre-Masters.
When are your fees due?
Confirmation payment
Once you have received an offer of a place at the International Study Centre, a confirmation payment is required to secure your place on the course. This will include:
- £120 Enrolment Fee (non-refundable)
- £1,000 Refundable Deposit - The deposit is held to cover damages and any other incidental expenses. Any monies left at the end of your course will be returned to you.
- £500 advance fees
- Insurance payment for Study Care (if applicable)
- £2,000 Accommodation Confirmation Payment (ACP) where applicable
Tuition fees
The balance of tuition fees can be paid:
For programmes of study lasting three terms or more: termly, one month before the start of each academic term, or in full in advance.
For two-term (Pre-Masters) courses: in full in advance.
Accommodation fees
An Accommodation Confirmation Payment of £2,000 is required with the first instalment of tuition fees, due one month before term starts. This payment is used towards the cost of your rent. The balance of your accommodation fees must be paid directly to the University, after arrival, in line with their payment terms.
Making a payment
Fees can be paid by cheque, Sterling bank draft, telegraphic transfer or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards. Payments by credit and debit card are subject to a surcharge, but this is waived if fees are paid one month in advance of the course start date.
