The International Study Centre (ISC) offers international students a direct path to a degree at Lancaster. The International Foundation Year, delivered at the ISC, qualifies students to meet the challenges of undergraduate study at the University.

The Foundation Year fulfils the specific needs of international students who have completed High School but do not yet meet all the entrance requirements for a degree.

Which degrees does it lead to?
Through a choice of three routes:

you can progress to a wide range of subjects including: Accounting & Finance; Business Studies; Combined Technology; Computer Science; Economics; Engineering; Communication & Information Technolgoy; International Relations; Law; Management; Mathematics & Statistics; Politics; Sociology.

When does it start?
