Specialist On-Campus Preparation for your Degree
The International Study Centre (ISC) is now processing applications for October 2010 entry onto the International Foundation Year. Students are advised to apply as soon as possible. Applying early will allow enough time for visa and travel arrangements.
The International Foundation Year provides a direct path to a degree at Lancaster University for international students who have completed High School but do not yet meet all the entrance requirements for a degree. Students have a choice of three courses or routes, depending on the degree they want to do:
Which degrees does it lead to?
Depending on the route taken, students can move on to a wide range of degrees, including Accounting & Finance, Business Studies, Combined Technology, Communication & Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, International Relations, Law, Management, Mathematics & Statistics, Politics, Psychology, or Sociology.
When does it start?
October 2010 Entry: Applications and Confirmations
Students who want to begin their Foundation Year this October need to apply as soon as possible to allow eough time to get visas. Those who have applied and received offer letters need to confirm their places by the 20th of August to make sure they get on-campus accommodation. Applications are also being accepted for January 2011 entry.
