Linda Rankine

Linda Rankine, International Student Enrolment Adviser

Linda speaks Cantonese and Mandarin as well as English. Contact her here.

"Hello! My name is Linda and I come from China. I became an English teacher in China after my undergraduate study, and then joined an international company. I felt the desire to travel and decided do my second degree in the UK. I chose Lancaster University because it has a very good reputation and the Management School is one of the best in the country. I thoroughly enjoyed my MA in Management and Organisational Learning. The teaching is of a very high standard and the staff are extremely helpful. The course enhanced my competence and ability to respond effectively to changing demands at work, not to mention how to integrate successfully into English society. I have many fond memories of my time at Lancaster: the inspirational tutors, meeting people of all different nationalities and backgrounds, visiting Edinburgh, Dublin, Cambridge and London, long walks in the Lake District, dancing at the Sugar House on Friday nights…

I am very pleased to now be counselling students who are interested in studying at Lancaster University. I understand it is a big decision to make, but I am sure my knowledge and experience will help you make the right decision. I speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Please feel free to contact me with any queries. I look forward to hearing from you and I will do my best to help."

Radek Falkowski

Radek Falkowski, International Student Enrolment Adviser

Radek speaks Polish, German and a little Russian, as well as English. Contact him here.

"Hello! I'm Radek. I find myself here in England, pushed by the urge to travel. In the past this desire has taken me to many different places such as the USA and Germany, where I brushed up on my language and communication skills in German and English. As I originally come from Poland, I had a chance to learn some Russian at school and then practise it during my short visits to Ukraine and Belarus. Unfortunately, in that language I am far from fluent. I have always found learning languages fascinating, opening the doors to many different worlds, and before I knew it, I became a teacher of English myself. Now, I'm happy to be a part of a bigger picture - helping people from all over the world learn the most spoken language on Earth. Please feel free to contact me with any queries you might have and I'll do my best to help you."

Student Adviser KamelKamel Koufi

"Hello! My name is Kamel Koufi and I’m from Algeria.

I have recently moved to the beautiful city of Brighton after living for a few years in London. In addition to my university studies in languages and project management, I’ve previously worked in various roles involving training and education. This helped me acquire a strong knowledge about UK universities and colleges and understand the needs of international students. I also speak fluently Arabic, English and French. I am also tempted to say I speak a little bit of Spanish but not enough (un poco!)

I have travelled a lot and visited many countries and made so many friends. I know most of Middle Eastern and North African countries (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Lebanon, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt…).

Please feel free to get in touch with me and have a chat about your future studies. I will be more than happy to listen to you and give you the best advice possible for your studies. So, do get in touch!"

Student Adviser SepintaSepinta Cyrous

Sepinta speaks Farsi, Arabic, French as well as English. Contact him here.

"Hello, My name is Sepinta and I was born in the warm Mediterranean town of Nice, South of France. I was raised in Los Angeles, United States where I completed my postgraduate education. After that, I spent 4 years in Montreal, Canada to work as a student counsellor and instructor in an international college and finally I ended up, here, in the UK in 2009.

Due to my French and my Persian origins, I got the opportunity to be a bridge between the Middle-Eastern and the Western culture which help me to better fulfill the needs of Middle-Eastern students in the West. My travelling in Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Oman boosted my passion for the Arabic Culture, which always impresses me and increases my curiosity to discover even more Arabic Countries. I speak Farsi, French, Arabic, English and some Spanish.

The world has become a small village and it doesn't matter where you come, what counts is where you're going and who you wanna be! Please don't hesitate to contact me; I'll use my abilities, upbringing and experiences to assist you with your study enquiries".

Student Adviser TopeTope Onitiri

Tope Onitiri speaks English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and some French. Contact her here.

"Hello everyone! My name is Tope Onitiri and I am a Nigerian. Being an African helps in recognising and valuing the need for an International Education as one of the major yardsticks for both individual and societal development. Asides from space planning, I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams for International Education and exposure.

Luckily, I have been privileged to do so through my work experience in the International Education Field for over 5 years. I am an English graduate with particular expertise in career and education counseling. I speak English fluently and I understand a few African languages- Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and little French. I have also visited a few places around the world - Canada, U.K, U.S.A and Puerto Rico amongst others and this has helped me appreciate the impact of International exposure to understanding cultural diversities. I understand students’ anxieties on overseas admissions processes - ranging from ascertaining and finding the right institution with their current home qualifications; to application guidance; and adjusting or settling down to life abroad; as well as visas issues.

I am here to help and offer sound advice to guide you through the admission and enrolment process. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any enquiries you might have. I look forward to hearing from you."
