"I chose Leicester because it has a reputable department for biological sciences and that is exactly what I want to do in my degree. It has been a pleasant time studying here. With all the facilities clustered on the main campus, I can get the most out of my day without wasting time on the travel. I am looking at being a research scientist or to work in private corporations that deal with biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. During the degree, I hope to do an internship so that I can gain more experience."

“My teachers and head of centre were nothing short of amazing, and were responsible for the warm environment of the centre! The end of year had me almost wishing some of my tutors could ‘progress’ onto my degree along with me and my classmates! Classes were always very engaging, and sometimes challenging. I was always provided with help whenever I struggled with course material. I feel that the course greatly improved my scientific knowledge.”
