Opal Court / The Grange / Nixon Court
Standard En-suite - 42 weeks let, £101.50 pw

Opal Court is just a few minutes’ walk from the main University campus. The rooms are arranged in flats for 5 or 6 students and have a large kitchen / lounge area.

The Grange is comprised of 218 en-suite rooms. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen and a communal lounge area. The Grange is located very close to the centre of town.

Nixon Court is currently being transformed and enhanced by a development project. At the heart of the project are 281 modern, high standard en-suite rooms with communal kitchen / lounge facilities. The en-suite rooms will be arranged in flats of 5 residents. It is situated within minutes from the main University campus and local supermarket.

Nixon Court / Freemen's Common
Standard Single - 42 weeks let, £79.80 pw

Nixon Court single bedrooms also have a washbasin within the room. The flats range from between 6 and 10 rooms, sharing kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Freemen’s Common is conveniently situated 250 metres from the main University campus. The accommodation is purpose built houses, each with ten single study bedrooms, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Privately-rented rooms

Offered through the University, Studentpad is an independent advisor and provider of student accommodation. This service provides a comprehensive and constantly changing database of all off-campus private property available to students in Leicester. You can search for rooms to rent in private houses within the area on the Student Pad website.

Accommodation for under 18s

Any student who will be under 18 on arrival will be accommodated in an en-suite room.

Under 18s in private accommodation

Students who will be under 18 at the start of thier course and wish to arrange their own accommodation in the private sector must provide an address to the ISC before they can confirm their place on a course.

All Under 18s at the University of Leicester must have a guardian in the UK for any term that they are Under 18. If you do not have a contact in the UK we can arrange guardianship with Bright World guardianship agency.
