Journalism at Lincoln
The Lincoln School of Journalism was opened in 2004 by celebrated investigate Journalist, John Pilger to develop the study of journalism in all its aspects. The schools dedicated facilties include seven industry standard newsrooms, fully equipped for radio, television, online and print news production.
The School was the first in Europe to be awarded a 'Recognised for Excellence' accolade by the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA). The School's teachers were awarded the Innovation in Broadcast Journalism Teaching award by the BJTC (2008-9). Its programmes are accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council and the Periodical Training Council. Students benefit from strong links with industry, including the BBC, regional newspapers and magazines.
