Degree preparation for International and EU students at LJMU
Welcome to the LJMU International Study Centre
International and EU students can apply here for specialist degree preparation courses if they do not meet requirements for direct entry to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Liverpool John Moores University.
Benefits of on-campus degree preparation for International and EU students
International and EU students who want to study in the UK often find that their qualifications may be considered differently from those obtained from UK institutions. At LJMU International Study Centre (ISC), we solve this by providing on-campus degree preparation courses, including English language training. Based on-campus, degree preparation programmes give students familiarity and access to all campus facilities and services while making sure they gain a strong academic foundation and English language skills.
If you are an international student and you do not meet requirements for direct entry to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at LJMU, you can apply for these specialist preparation courses:

Why Liverpool John Moores University?
LJMU connects students with some of the world's biggest employers. The university's famous World of Work programme gives students more than just a degree: it connects students to some of the biggest firms in the UK. With the Faculty of Business and Law's new links with firms in Greater China and Shanghai among others, students have even more opportunities.
In addition, LJMU is located at the centre of an extraordinary city. Liverpool, also known as the 'World Capital of Pop', is the birthplace of The Beatles. It has a number of legendary and up and coming artists plus lots of great music venues. Also, did you know that Sex and the City star, Kim Cattrall, who recently received an honorary degree from LJMU, was born in Liverpool?
The University itself is renowned for its arts discipline as well as a wide range of sports activities. From arts to football, the City is the home of Liverpool FC and Everton FC, both big names in the UK premier league. Read more about LJMU here.
