About the International Foundation Year
Choosing a Foundation Year route to an undergraduate degree at LJMU
The International Foundation Year fully prepares international and EU students for degree study at LJMU within three terms of academic subjects, study skills and English Language training. The next entry point is January 2012.
A route or pathway is a package of modules or subjects that the University recommend students to study in preparation for degree study in specific fields.
The Foundation Year at LJMU ISC currently offers two routes, namely, Business, Law & Social Studies and Engineering, Computing & Life Sciences. There are five core modules common to each route, and five specific modules, each carefully designed to focus on the academic areas most useful to your chosen degree.
