The International Pre-Masters/MBA is a 14-week programme designed for international students looking for fast-track entry onto a Masters or MBA programme at LJMU. We also offer 20-weeks and 24-weeks programmes which are tailored for students needing additional English language preparation.

Academic Entry requirements Recognised higher/advanced diploma in a related subject area
Recognised degree in related field (eg Business Studies)
Honours degree in any subject (eg BA International Relations)
English Language requirement IELTS level of 5.5 or equivalent (with minimum 5.5 in writing)

Economics and quantitative methods
Business management
Research methods
Assessment Regularly carried out through:

unseen final exams at the end of each module

extended essays and case studies
Progression (following successful completion) MBA in Business and Management, MSc International Accounting and Finance, MSc International Banking and Finance, LLM International Business and Commercial Law, MSc International Business and Management, MSc Maritime Operations, MBA Executive, MA Marketing, MSc International Transport, Trade and Logistics, MSc Port Management.
