Residence Hall staff

Dedicated professional staff help to create a safe and enjoyable living atmosphere in the residence halls:

Resident Directors (RDs)
RDs live in a residence hall and oversee its operation. The RD works with the Resident Assistants to create a sense of community and respond to students’ needs and concerns. RDs work on rotation to be on-call for student emergencies during evening and weekend hours and cooperate closely with Campus Security.

Resident Assistants (RAs)
RAs are students who are trained to assist in supervising the residence halls. An RA lives on each floor/section of a residence hall and offers peer assistance and direction to students when needed. They will answer questions about the campus, explain College policies, sponsor hall activities, and promote a sense of community.
