Manhattan College's safe campus in New York City

The learning experience at Manhattan College is enriched by postgraduate professional programs and by capitalizing on its location on the edge of the cultural center and global marketplace that is New York City.

Whether you study in the School of Arts, Business, Engineering or Science, Manhattan College offers:

New York location

New York City is an educational, financial, social and cultural powerhouse of global proportions, and Manhattan College is right on its doorstep.

Located in the beautiful, quiet Riverdale neighborhood of New York City, the College is just 10 miles from the excitement of Times Square, the bright lights of Broadway and the buzz of Wall Street.

Business students can take finance courses in banking and the speculative markets, and see these theories being put into practice on Wall Street. If you are interested in media or broadcasting, you can try an internship with ABC, CBS, NBC or any of the major networks located only twenty minutes away.

Professional links

The College's mentoring program offers excellent opportunities for undergraduates to interact with professionals in every field. Engineering alumni help the College maintain the relevance of its curriculum, arrange internships, provide job opportunities, share information on current trends in the industry, and assist in getting grants.

Caring campus community

The College is large enough to be diverse and to offer a wide range of academic, extracurricular, and support programs. But Manhattan College is also small enough and compact enough for students to form a genuine sense of shared identity. Our students get to know each other very well; professors know their students by name; and members of our community form deep relationships that last a lifetime. The campus is a quiet, safe haven in the midst of the energy and activity of New York City.

Sustainability

The College is dedicated to sustainability and to doing everything possible to reduce its eco-footprint. Manhattan has signed on to New York City's 30-in-10 initiative, an aggressive effort by New York universities to reduce greenhouse gases by 30 percent by 2017, and has become a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
