How to Apply to the ESL Transition Program

Fast and Easy Application Process
Step One: Contact our expert Student Enrollment Advisor using the online inquiry form. He will answer your questions about the ESLTransition Program and Merrimack College. He is there to guide you through the admissions process.Step Two: Send your completed application to us, including official transcript in English, and financial statement. Following University acceptance, a deposit will be required to release the I-20 immigration document.
Step Three: We will assess your English level. If you have a TOEFL score include that in your application. However, you do not have to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score to qualify for the Transition Program. We will ask you to complete the Study Group Pre-Arrival English Test to help determine your English level.
Step Four: Our Student Enrollment Advisor will review your application and forward it to Merrimack College on your behalf. If you are successful we will confirm your University offer within approximately three weeks.
Application Deadline
Rolling admissions ensure you can apply at any time of year (although we recommend that applications are made as early as possible in the academic year).
Transfer Applicants
If you have been a student at an accredited university in your home country, you can transfer to Merrimack College. Transfer applications must be accompanied by certified (English) course descriptions, documented hours of instruction, and an official transcript.
