The ESL Transition Program at the International Study Center (ISC) offers English preparation for direct entry to undergraduate and graduate degrees at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU).

Who is the course for?
The ESL (English as a Second Language) Transition Program is designed for international students who want to attend PLU, but do not have the required English skills or TOEFL scores to gain direct entry into the academic program.
Which degrees does the ESL Transition Program lead to?
A wide choice of degree subjects leading to a Bachelor’s or Master's degree including: Music, Accounting, Art, Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Education, Entrepreneurship, and Pre-Law to name a few.
What programs are offered at PLU?
At PLU, there are many different undergraduate degrees available. Choose from a variety of majors in the following divisions/schools: Division of Humanities, Division of Natural Sciences, Division of Social Sciences, School of the Arts and Communication, School of Business, School of Nursing and the School of Education and Movement Studies.
