A PLACE TO CALL HOME

Harstad Hall is one of the residences on campus that accommodate PLU students

Your accommodation options

PLU has 10 residence halls throughout upper and lower campus. Most of the residence halls consist of shared rooms, and each has personal clothes storage space, telephone and Internet access. Bathrooms are communal and located on each floor or wing. Each hall has comfortable student lounges, shared kitchen facilities and PLU residence assistants to help answer questions and plan activities. Meal plans are included.

International Study Center students also have the option of Homestay accommodation where you can live as part of a local American family. However, we recommend that you live on campus as we believe that life in the residence halls is an integral part of the University experience.

Residential Life

Residence halls are already a great place to meet people, make new friends and join in social activities.

Residential Life at PLU aspires to provide safe, comfortable and welcoming residence hall communities in which all students can live, learn and grow. All halls include informal lounges, study rooms, and common kitchen and laundry facilities that allow residents to establish a comfortable living pattern.
Each residence hall is managed by a live in professional staff member who oversees housing and facilities needs. Each residence also benefits from voluntary Resident Assistants who serve as a personal resource to assist with needs as they arise, provide social activities and co-curricular programming.

Accommodation for students with disabilities

The university complies with the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and provides reasonable accommodations to students with documented disabilities who are registered with the University.
