Admission

Application Process

Application to the ESL Transition Program is fast, streamlined and straightforward. We are still accepting applications for September entry (Fall 2009).

Just follow these simple steps below, but if you are ready to complete the application form, download it here.

The Application Process

Our expert Student Enrollment Advisor will support you through the whole process. Your admission to the ESL Transition Program will follow these simple steps:

  1. Submit your application (either by post or by fax).
  2. A Student Enrollment Advisor will contact you if we have questions about your application.
  3. The International Admissions office at PLU will review your application and will determine if you have suitable academic qualifications and level of English language (you will be asked to complete our English Test if you do not have an IELTS or TOEFL grade).
  4. If your application is successful we will send you a formal offer of an admission.
  5. To accept your place you need to send us a confirmation payment.
  6. Upon receipt of your payment we will reserve a place for you in University accommodation.
  7. We will send you confirmation that you have a reserved place at the ISC, and visa support documents.
  8. You then need to apply for a visa if necessary.
  9. One month before the start of term you need to pay your remaining fees (either in full or your first installment).
  10. Before the start of your course we will ask you for details of your flight to the US, and will send you confirmation of your accommodation.
  11. You arrive in the US the weekend before your program starts – you will be met at the airport to settle into your on-campus accommodation.
