Embassy Pathway Program for international students

Living in University accommodation

PLU has 10 residence halls throughout upper and lower campus. Most of the residence halls consist of shared rooms, and each has personal clothes storage space, telephone and Internet access. Bathrooms are communal and located on each floor or wing. Each hall has comfortable student lounges, shared kitchen facilities and PLU residence assistants to help answer questions and plan activities.

International Study Center students also have the option of Homestay accommodation where you can live as part of a local American family. However, we recommend that you live on campus as we believe that life in the residence halls is an integral part of the University experience.

Your roommate

All PLU first-year students are guaranteed housing. Also, we make sure your roommate is selected by a real-live person - not a computer - who will find out your likes and dislikes and match you with someone with similar tastes. Here many first-year students live side-by-side with returning students - a great opportunity for students of all ages to share experiences and learn from one another. All these things help make living on campus comfortable, challenging and uniquely PLU.
