Project or internship option

You have the choice of completing the master's program in 12 months with the International Industry Analysis Project, or completing it in 18 months with the Canadian Internship option.

International Industry Analysis Project
International Industry Analysis requires you to design your own project, focused on addressing an issue faced by an organization that operates in an international context. You investigate an industry using various models of industry analysis, collect appropriate data on their selected industry, apply appropriate models and investigate the current position and future trends in the industry.

Canadian Internship
The Internship option begins with a preparatory course focused on understanding the operation and culture of a Canadian workplace, followed by a six-month internship at a Canadian organization. The precise nature of the internship opportunity will depend on the availability and your experience and skills.

Professional career paths

This program is designed as a launch platform for an international career in:

  • An entry level position with a transnational corporation
  • Director/Vice President of international marketing or international business development for a small or medium enterprise
  • An international new venture
  • Social entrepreneurship either starting an Non-Governmental Organization or serving as a program officer offshore
  • National or International governments accounts manager

Some graduates may go on to study for a doctorate degree in international management.
