The university admission process
Our expert Student Enrolment Advisors will support you through the whole process. Your admission to the University will follow these simple steps:
- Submit your university application form by email or fax.
- Also send us your supporting documents, including school transcripts and bank statement.
- We carefully review your application and check you have suitable academic qualifications and level of English (you will be asked to complete our academic English Test if you do not have an IELTS or TOEFL grade).
- If your application is successful we send you a formal offer of a place:
- within 2 working days for undergraduate applicants
- within 3 weeks of a master's level application
- Pay a deposit (refundable if your visa is denied) to confirm your place.
- Upon receipt of your deposit payment we send an official University acceptance letter and reserve accommodation for you (if applicable).
- You then need to apply for a Canadian study permit (and temporary resident visa if necessary).
- Pay your remaining fees (either in full or your first instalment) by July 1st for the fall semester, November 1st for the spring semester or April 1st for the summer semester.
- Before your program starts, we will ask you to complete pre-arrival documents (medical, flight details etc).
- Arrive in Canada the weekend before your program starts - you will be met at the airport if you have booked a transfer - to settle into your new home.
University application deadline
There is no deadline for applications - we offer rolling admissions. However, we recommend you apply as early as possible, and at least 10 weeks before your program starts, because the visa application process can delay your university admission:
- Summer semester starts May 6, 2012
- Fall semester starts September 5, 2012
- Spring semester starts January 17, 2013
If you miss your start date because of visa processing delays, your application will be rolled over to the next available entry point.
