After Graduation: Working in Scotland

International student graduating from the University of Stirling

‘Fresh Talent’ is a Scottish Executive initiative to attract talented people to live, study and work in Scotland. All international students who graduate from a Scottish university with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or Higher National Diploma (HND), are able to apply to stay on and work in the country for an additional two years without the need for a work permit.
