You can fly direct to either Glasgow or Edinburgh international airports from a wide range of international destinations. There is a direct flight from Dubai to Glasgow for example.
Alternatively, you may need to change flights. We advise that you avoid flying via Heathrow if at all possible, as it is common for students to experience delays on this route. A better option if you can't fly direct, is to travel via Amsterdam or Frankfurt.

The journey takes 45 minutes for Edinburgh airport and 80 minutes from Glasgow airport.

There are very regular shuttle flights to London from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
It is less than 10 minutes by bus or taxi to Stirling city centre. The University is served by excellent bus links: at peak times some 19 buses per hour run from Stirling to the main University campus. If you want to walk the 2 miles from the train station, it will take around 40 to 45 minutes.
