Specialist on-campus preparation for your degree
The International Foundation Year at the International Study Centre (ISC) prepares international students for direct entry to degree studies at the University of Surrey.
Who is the Foundation Year for? Prospective students who do not meet direct entry requirements for a degree. The ISC is there to make sure that they gain a strong academic foundation, English language and other relevant skills they will need to successfully pursue their chosen degree studies. The Foundation Year fulfils the specific needs of each and every international student who has completed High School but does not yet meet all the entrance requirements for a degree.
Which degrees does the Foundation Year lead to? A wide range of degress in the fields of science, computing and social sciences. For example, Biochemistry; Chemistry; Computing; Economics; Engineering; Entrepreneurship; Integrated Sciences; Law, Management; Mathematics; Media & Film Studies; Physics; Politics; Psychology; Sociology and Space Technology among others.
