"I hope you are considering joining us at the University of Surrey International Study Centre, where you will have a wonderful opportunity to study in the UK at one of Britain’s excellent universities.
The University has a long history of welcoming international students from all around the world, and currently has students from over 130 different countries so you will be certain to gain a truly international education and diverse student experience.
Our beautiful safe campus(优美校园环境) is situated in Guildford which is just 40 minutes by train from London. Surrey has recently completed several major new build and refurbishment projects, moving closer towards creating a truly world class campus for the 21st century.
ISC students have the advantage of individual attention to help them improve their English as well as their academic subjects. We provide a friendly and supportive environment in the heart of a leading university. For our students, this should offer the best of both worlds!
All the staff at the International Study Centre are looking forward to welcoming you to the University of Surrey(萨里大学). You may feel slightly nervous right now but don’t worry, we are dedicated to helping you settle in and achieve your best.
Joining the ISC will be an exciting time for you when you will meet new people, have new experiences and fulfil your dreams.
We look forward to being part of it!"

"I moved to UK with my family in 2008 and started working at the ISC in 2009. I love working here as I like to meet people from all over the world. I was an international student myself and I understand how it feels to be away from home in a foreign country. For me it was fun and sometimes scary. In addition to the knowledge gained in the classroom the whole experience of life in a foreign country is invaluable and will stay with you forever.
As a student welfare officer, my duties are varied and include: monitoring attendance, dealing with accommodation issues, and helping with visa applications. The main thing is to help students do well in their studies and progress smoothly to the undergraduate programmes at the university. Guildford is a beautiful town and I enjoy living here. My family like to eat out and I like to shop in the town therefore I frequently bump into students out and about."

"My role as Centre Administrator at the ISC is an interesting and varied job. I really enjoy working in the centre and getting to know all the students. As the Centre Administrator I have a variety of duties which range from dealing with fees to the running of the exams.
I am based in the ISC Reception with Louise, the Student Welfare Officer, and our window is open all day Monday to Friday to deal with any student query, big or small.
I only moved to Guildford when I started this role in April but I really like the town and the university campus is a great place to work or study."

"My English teaching career started in my hometown Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1996. I taught students of different ages and levels.
In 2002, I moved to England with my family, and gained a postgraduate Cambridge University certificate and diploma. Before coming to ISC Surrey, I taught IELTS, FCE and ESOL exam preparation as well as general English classes.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching English, and getting to know other people and cultures. I believe that the study of the English language is essential to every person who wishes to become a member of the current global community.
