A direct path to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees

The International Study Centre (ISC) offers a pathway to the University of Sussex for international students who require specialist preparation before moving onto their University degree.

ISC courses combine academic modules, study skills and English Language training for postgraduate or undergraduate study:

Who is the course for?
International students who have completed high school but who do not yet meet all the University's entry requirements for degree-level study.

Pre-MastersStudy Pre-Masters at the University of Sussex

Who is the course for?
International students with academic qualifications that do not match Sussex's postgraduate degree entrance requirements.

What does the course deliver?
The best possible preparation for an undergraduate degree at Sussex.

When does the course start?
September 2009 or January 2010

Which undergraduate degrees does it lead to?
Assured progression to a wide choice of subjects including: Biology, Business and management, Chemistry, Computing, Ecology, Economics, Engineering, Finance, International relations, Law, Mathematics, Media, Molecular medicine, Neuroscience, Pre-Medical, and Physics. See full list.

The skills and confidence to succeed in your taught Masters studies.

When does the course start?
September 2009 or January 2010 (depending on IELTS level)

Which Masters degrees does it lead to?
Assured progression to one of eight postgraduate MSc degrees in subjects including Entrepreneurship, International finance, International management, Knowledge management, Risk management, and Technology and innovation management. See full list.
