Bathroom facilities are normally shared, although a third of the accommodation is en-suite. Residences on campus are all equipped with telephones and broadband internet access. There is a launderette on campus, along with shops, a doctor and dentist and other essential facilities.
Bedding pack vouchers
If you are staying in university accommodation and require a bedding pack, please download a Bedding Voucher (
, 136KB). This voucher should be filled in with your name, and handed in to the porter at each student residence, in exchange for a bedding pack.
The bedding pack consists of sheets, a duvet cover and a towel. The cost of the bedding pack is £35 and will be invoiced to you by the ISC.
Rooms for different needs
Most rooms are designed for one person, but we have some shared rooms and a small number of family flats suitable for a couple and a young child. We also have a limited amount of housing adapted for students with a disability.
Ideal for making friends
We know that when you first come to the University you may feel anxious that you do not know anyone. But everybody feels the same and, living in University accommodation, you soon get to know your neighbours. To help you settle in, most residences have a live-in residential adviser - an established Sussex student who will help you when you arrive and can assist with any minor problems.Accommodation options for Diploma and Foundation Year students
