Preparation for your degree
The University preparation courses taught at the International Study Centre offer an assured path to Year 1 and Year 2 of undergraduate study and to postgraduate degrees in a wide range of subjects.
Which degree subjects can I choose from?
Through a wide range of programmes we provide access to many degree subjects at the University of Sussex.
We offer preparation for both undergraduate and postgraduate study. In the table below we provide guidance as to the degree subjects we cover. For information about specific validated degree options click on the relevant programme.

Assured progression to your degree
Joining the International Foundation Year, International Year 1 Diploma or Pre-Masters programme guarantees that you will receive a conditional offer of a degree place at the University. Soon after you join, you will be helped to nominate the degree programme onto which you want to progress.
How will I progress to my degree?
On successful completion of the International Foundation Year, International Year 1 Diploma or Pre-Masters, you can proceed directly to your degree at Sussex. You will start your degree studies in the autumn term immediately following the end of your ISC course. The required pass mark will depend on your chosen degree course.
