Application deadline

Places at the ISC fill up fast so we recommend you get your application in as early as possible, and at least a month before the start of your programme.

However, subject to availability, we do continue to consider applications up to 2 weeks after the start of an academic programme.

Please note that the visa application process can cause delays to admission.

An expert Student Enrolment Adviser will support you through the whole process. Your admission to the International Study Centre will follow these simple steps:

  1. Submit your application (either online, by post or by fax)
  2. A Student Enrolment Adviser will contact you if we have queries about your application
  3. We carefully review your application and check you have suitable academic qualifications and level of English language (you will be asked to complete our English Test if you do not have an IELTS or TOEFL grade)
  4. If your application is successful we will send you a formal offer of a place
  5. To accept your place you need to send us a confirmation payment and your completed Acceptance Form. Please note that for programmes starting in September 2010, you will need to confirm by 1st September to ensure a place in the recommended Halls of Residence
  6. Upon receipt of your payment we will reserve a place for you in University accommodation
  7. We will send you a Certificate of Enrolment, confirming that you have a reserved place at the ISC and, if you need a visa, a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number.
  8. You then need to apply for a visa if necessary
  9. One month before the start of term you need to pay your remaining fees (either in full or your first instalment)
  10. Before the start of your course we will ask you for details of your flight to the UK, and will send you confirmation of your accommodation.
  11. You arrive in the UK the weekend before your programme starts – you will be met at the airport if you have booked a taxi transfer - to settle into your on-campus accommodation.
