On-campus university access centre for Wales

The Wales International Study Centre (WISC) is a unique and superb new facility for international students wanting to progress to internationally recognised universities across Wales.

Situated on the campus of the University of Wales, Newport, WISC delivers the International Foundation Year - preparation for undergraduate degree study at some of the UK's leading academic departments.

Who is the course for?
International students who have completed High School but do not yet meet all the entrance requirements for an undergraduate degree.

Which degrees does it lead to?
A wide choice of subjects at 11 Universities across Wales including: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Politics, Social Studies, Computing, Engineering or Science.

When does it start?
Contact a student adviser to apply for Foundation Year entry in September or January.

INTERNATIONAL Bursary

GBP2,000 Bursary - for international students on all Wales ISC courses in  Jan 2010. GBP1,000 for Sept 2010 courses. Limited places. Contact us now to apply for the scheme.
