The University is located on two campuses in South West Wales, in the towns of Carmarthen and Lampeter, with each providing a friendly and vibrant atmosphere where international students are welcomed and encouraged.
The local area of South West Wales is a spectacular location in which to live and work. Bustling market towns are surrounded by a mixture of hills and rolling countryside, providing a stimulating environment and many opportunities for outdoor recreation with the sea close by.
Steeped in history Trinity St David is close to Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales as well as
Roman and mediaeval heritage sites plus national parks and thousands of acres of breathtaking countryside.
You can keep fit and make friends with the full use of all our facilities including: a fully functional Fitness Suite with Technogym cardiovascular and resistance machines and free weights, the Sports Hall offers a range of great sports to play, clubs and societies, live music, comedy, cabaret, quizzes and the seasonal balls held throughout the academic year and live theatre and performance at the University’s three hundred and fifty-seat Halliwell Theatre
Academic focus
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David specialises in the areas of education, the humanities, creative, cultural and performing arts, as well as business, IT, social inclusion and health. Teaching is conducted in small classes, staff are at the cutting edge of their subjects, and the learning environment is friendly and supportive.
Everything you need is on campus, including accommodation, lecture halls, Students’ Union, information and library services.
The Library has an extensive collection of books, databases, e-books, journals, newspapers and electronic resources and is part of the Inter-Library Loan service. While studying you can stay connected with network laptops and computers, which are available to use in the library as well as free WiFi throughout the campus.
Your accommodation at Trinity is on campus and guaranteed for the duration of your course. Choose from a range of options including catered residencies and self-catering en-suite flats. Study bedrooms are spacious and come with free Wi-Fi access.
Help and guidance from a dedicated support service means that whether you have questions, a personal issue or want to start planning your career, you can talk to us. You can get practical and confidential advice on issues including welfare, finance, homesickness and counseling or plan your future with help from the Careers Service, giving you access to networks and information.
Taking part in our Cultural Programme means you can learn more about Wales and the UK. We’ll take you on trips to ten locations throughout the year are a great opportunity to meet new people and understand the local and national culture. You will be accompanied by members of the International Office to destinations such as the Pembrokeshire Coast, London, Cardiff, Hay-on-Wye and Bath, England.
