Progression Universities across England and Wales

Students who successfully complete the International Foundation Year can progress on to a wide choice of degrees at 11 universities in England and Wales, including our new partner, University of Bristol; ranked in the top 10 UK Universities. You can choose top-ranking degrees from  world-renowned institutions such as Cardiff University's School of Civil Engineering or Aberystwyth’s famous Department for International Politics. 

In addition to the International Foundation Year, our intensive programmes, the International Year One and Pre-Masters offer pathways to degrees at six of our partner universities.

Higher Education in Wales

Wales has a strong tradition of higher education. Its universities and colleges of higher education have made a significant contribution to the world of academia in both the arts and sciences.


In the last two years Welsh Higher Education institutions have launched 100 new courses and attracted over £900m of research funding. This year international students enrolling on courses increased by 7% to over 7,000 students with an average of 10% of the student population made up of students from countries outside the EU.


Between all our university partners there are over 30 centres of excellence, 13 departments rated 5* and 41 rated 5 in the most recent RAE assessment, and 66 departments listed as Excellent for teaching quality.
