Progression to your Degree



Acceptance on the ESL Transition Program is based on the academic qualifications for admission to a Woodbury University degree.

Upon completion of the ESL Transition Program, you will have reached the required English Language level and gained confidence and valuable study skills. You can then move into full-time study on your degree at Woodbury University:

Progression timeline

The timeline depends on the rate of your progress in English language studies, but most students take 1 or 2 semesters to complete the Transition Program.

International student tuition discount

International Study Center students are eligible for reduced fees throughout their Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Academic dates

You can start your degree program in either January or August following completion of your ESL Transition program:

  • Spring 2010 Semester: January 11 - May 7, 2010
  • Fall 2010 Semester: August 23 - December 10, 2010
  • Spring 2011 Semester: January 10 - May 6 2011
