National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD)
The national accrediting agency for art, design and related university programs. NASAD is an association of approximately 294 schools of art and design. It establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas including art history, art therapy, film/video production, digital media, fashion, graphic design, and photography.
National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB)
NAAB is the sole agency authorized to accredit US professional degree programs in architecture.The curriculum of a NAAB-accredited program includes general studies, professional studies, and electives, which together comprise a liberal education in architecture. The curriculum ensures that graduates will be technically competent, critical thinkers who are capable of defining multiple career paths within a changing societal context.
